Background/Name:

Jordan Shelton first started writing, recording and producing music in 2018, shortly after getting his first personal laptop for school. Jordan's first official production work outside of the Make More Creative Junk team was credited as "secret laptop music". This was the first of a series of names as Jordan released solo music and collaborations as "s.l.m.". In the summer of 2023, Jordan made the official transition to "jrdn!" as a artist/producer name for all future releases. Jordan is based in Columbus, Ohio.

As a producer, jrdn!'s catalog is filled with experiments in various genres. From rap mixtapes, to acoustic ballads,  dark rock tracks and much more, jrdn! has become a more developed producer and songwriter by exploring new sounds and letting new ideas lead the way.

The duo Dead Lighters combines the previously mentioned qualities of Jordan's style with the skilled guitar style of co-producer Anthony Phloyd. Their first album RUCKUS (2022) led them to a strong 2023 writing new music, releasing YouTube videos and playing their first live show ever in their hometown of Columbus, Oh. Their latest work, "LONGWING", was released in November of 2024.​
